目標
• Improve speaking skills, discussion skills.
• Learn about interesting topics by listening to student speeches, asking questions, etc.
• Vocabulary review and reinforcement of learning via teacher review and comments.
講義概要
1) Each student will have a chance to make a speech in order (5-8 minutes maximum).
Topics are "free"; please select a topic that will improve the English you want to master.
2) After a speech, students can make brief comments or ask questions. Our goal is to give everyone an equal chance to speak English!
3) The teacher will make comments to emphasize important points, to review vocabulary, and to add new ideas. This is also a key purpose of our class.

講師紹介
- Robert L. Plautz
- 翻訳家
- ブリガム・ヤング大学(歴史専攻)にて、最優等で学士号を得たのち、東京外国語大学へ留学、日本の近代史の研究を行う。コロンビア大学(ジャーナリズム)にて修士号を得る。ルイジアナ州シュリーブポートジャーナル社にて、社説担当副編集長として従事。国際交流員として大分県企画調整課に勤務し知事の通訳を行う。翻訳家としても活躍中。
